Reminiscent of the Abstract Expressionism movement of the 1940s, emerging artist Stacy Hosrich unleashes the creativity of his subconscious through his impulsive approach, making the process just as important as the painting itself. Painting with a mix of medias, he captures the essence of himself, the energy of shapes and color on canvas in the form of uncalculated marks, rich textures, scrapes, splashes and rich loads of pigment.He also uses complex manipulations of positive and negative space to achieve drama in his picture field. Hosrich received his degree from SHSU and divides his time between his Huntsville studio and his home in Houston. His work is held in many private and public collections.
